Charlie Ray Cauthen Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Ray Cauthen Sr. of Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Cauthen and Pearl Cauthen; his former wife Mary Elizabeth McIntosh; and his siblings, Bud, Bygie, Melvin, Edward Cauthen, Mamie Hall Hudson, Faye Geck, Lois Russell Thompson, Ruby Pittman and Eunice Gafford.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta Hickman Cauthen of Greenville; his sister Earline Strickland of Lapine; his sons, Charles (Annette) of Montgomery, Joe (Cindy) of Montgomery, Steve Cauthen (Margaret) of Montgomery and Tom Cauthen (Laura) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Charlie Cauthen (Jane) of Melbourne, FL, Joey Cauthen (Carrie) of Montgomery, Laura Pritchard (Jay) of Atlanta, Kimberly Wolfe of Nashville, Thomas Cauthen and Mary Ella Cauthen of Auburn; and his great grandchildren, Liz, Bella, Lauren, Harry, Georgia, Mack, Emma, James and Rosie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
