He is survived by: his wife Fannie L Ray; his children, Lamonica Ray of Rochester, NY, Cassaundra Ray of Rochester, NY and Katrina Marsh of Greenville, AL; his siblings, Shirley Moorer of Greenville, Ala, Annie Jean Webb of Greenville, Ala, Sarah Ann Ray of Greenville, Ala and David Earl Ray of Cleveland, Ohio; his aunts, Angeline Taylor of Greenville, Ala and Janie Frost of Greenville, Ala; his uncle Albert Thompson of Greenville, Ala; his siblings-in-law, Mary Maxwell (John), Rachael Wilson (Ernest), Mattie Marsh, Nathaniel Poole of Rochester and Bruce Marsh of Montgomery, Ala; and his close friend Ollie Marsh. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: three great grandchildren.
