He was predeceased by: his parents, Zollie Heartsill and Kathleen Heartsill; and his siblings, Wanda McCarty and Timothy Heartsill. He is survived by: his daughter Jenna Jones (Justin); his brothers, Ren Heartsill (Leta) and Darrell Heartsill (Cathy); his granddaughter Lynleigh Jones; his niece Emily Heartsill; his nephew Matthew Heartsill; his mother-in-law Myrlean Hitson; his great-nephew Caden Burch; and his former wife Janet Heartsill.
He loved animals and for that reason the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of him to the Butler County Humane Society.
