He is survived by: his wife Vivian P. Adams; his sons, Jeff Adams (Melissa) and David Adams (Angie); his grandchildren, Heidi Lynn Cook, Layla Grace Adams and C. J. Adams; and his siblings, Angela Blackmon and James Earl Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
