It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Pope Champion of Greenville, Alabama, born in Luverne, Alabama, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Dunn Champion Sr.; her parents, George Wilkie Pope, Sr. and Sabra Alice Floyd; and her siblings, Rena Alice Pope Underwood and George Wilkie Pope, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Lesli Champion Riley (Tim) and Thomas Dunn Champion, Jr. (Jodie); her grandchildren, Allison Riley Horton (Grant), Grace Champion of Missouri, Chloe Elizabeth Champion and Jackson Pope Champion; her great grandchild Joseph Thomas Horton; her siblings, Ann Pope Wood (Gene) and Dr. David H. Pope; her sister-in-law Terry Parker Pope; and her friend John Vitollo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
