With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Sue Hartley Huckabaa of Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on July 30, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Thomas Edward Whiddon; her parents, John Hartley and Nellie Austin Hartley; her siblings, Johnny Hartley, Albert Hartley, Nellie Sue Bentley and George Phillip Hartley; and her nephew David Bentley.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Huckabaa; her stepdaughter Katina Huckabaa; her nephews, Scott Bentley and Dylan Bentley; her niece Allison Bentley; and her sisters, Allie Mae Moody (Alonzo), Mary Lou Hartley, Minnie Frances Clements and Myra Hartley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Damacus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Gloria Beverly, 4195 Dock Road, Honoraville, Alabama 36042.
