She was predeceased by: her husband Bill M. Simms; her parents, Dick Barrett and Norma Barrett; her sister Louise Blacklidge; and her niece Nancy Blacklidge Clark.
She is survived by: her son Lee Simms (Roseanne); her granddaughters, Stephanie Simms Crouch (Wallace) and Tiffany R. Simms; and her niece Suzanne Heflin.
