We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2020, at the age of 91, Agnes Hammonds of Greenville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Lowery and Flora Lowery; and her siblings, Ora Mae Lowery, Ilene Fussell, Elbert Lowery, Winfred Lowery, Leon Lowery, J. C. Lowery, Raymond Lowery and Curtis Lowery.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Hammonds; her children, Gayle Gafford (Terry), Ginny Shirley and Jim Hammonds (Alicia); her stepson Lomax Byrd (Sally); her grandchildren, Anne Marie Freeman (Elisha) and Trisha Croley (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Gage Arrant, Grace Freeman and Trace Little; her stepgrandchildren, Will and Ella Byrd; her brother Dennis Lowery (Virginia); and her sister-in-law Dot Lowery. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
