He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Virgil Barnette and Doris Scarbrough Barnette of Virginia. He is survived by: his sons, Darryhl Chadwick Barnette (Evelyn) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Kevin Virgil Barnette (Jillian) of Tuscaloosa; his brothers, Stephen Barnette (Pam), Emory Barnette, Donald Barnette (Gayle) and Ronald Barnette (Alice); and his grandchildren, Jake Barnette, Evan Barnette, Eva Barnette and Sophie Barnette.
