She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick Arthur Spencer and Susannah Linden Spencer of Luton; her former husband Benjamin Taylor Compton; her husband Otto Webb, Jr.; and her grandson Taylor Lane Compton.
She is survived by: her close friend Sandra Stone; her children, Michael T. Compton (Nancy), Susan C. Forest and David C. Compton (Mary); her grandchildren, Andrea C. Suttle, Tracy D. Richards, Cade Compton, Brennan Compton and David Broussard; her great grandchildren, Dylan Suttle, Compton Suttle, Colt Broussard and Charlie Broussard; and her close friend Dornia Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
