It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Green of Greensboro, Alabama, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Lewis Green; her son Leo Lewis "Buddy" Green, Jr.; her parents, John W. Holbrook and Nona Rose Holbrook; and her siblings, Sophie Snyder, Margaret Williams, John L. Holbrook and Claude Holbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Jelena Morrison (Tim) of Greensboro and William "BJ" Green, Jr. (Regina) of Moundville; her grandchildren, Mandy Smalley, Timmy Morrison, Kelly Green, Crystal Harris and Bryon Lagrone; and her sisters, Clara Rosso and Lois Sparks. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home- Tuscaloosa (6100 Old Greensboro Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
