He was predeceased by: his wife Frances J Mitchell; his son Johnny Mitchell; his parents, Thomas A Mitchell and Arie P Mitchell; and his siblings, Ozeal Bohannon, Ora Casaday, Ila Burchfield, Lila Clark, Felton Mitchell, Linden Mitchell, Curtis Mitchell, Wallace Mitchell and Harold Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Ford (Jeff Ford), Stephanie Elmore (Terry Elmore) and ReRe Osmer; his grandchildren, Mitchell Milam (Miranda), Tara Moore (Tom), Codi Espy (Collins), Michael Milam (Harley), Savanna Evans (Hunter) and Michael Grace Patterson (Dakota); and his great grandchildren, Madison Milam, Matthew Milam, Jakob Stone, Mason Milam, Kinzlee Milam, Emma Milam, Marlee Milam, Colton Milam, Catherine Espy and Caroline Espy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
