He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward and Ella Virginia Burke "Toots" Martin. He is survived by: his wife Florence Mitchell Martin; his daughter Bobbie Jacobs (Chris); his grandchildren, Hunter Jacobs (Callie), Courtney Nevels (Dylan) and Miller Jacobs (Anna Beth); and his great grandchildren, Hadley Nevels and Mary Layton Jacobs.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama or Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center.
