It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Mitchell (Greensboro, Alabama), who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles L. Mitchell; her parents, Alieze W. Broughton and Ernest A. Broughton; and her brother Kenneth A Broughton. She is survived by: her sister Eloise B. Bonds; her children, Linda Turner (Russell), Joyce Clements (Phillip), Larry Mitchell (Memie) and Judy Wheatley (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Seth Turner (Millie), Rita T. Cain (Josh), Sammy Clements (Christy), Bradley Clements (Whitney), Brian Mitchell (Wendy), Miriam Mitchell and Catherine Wheatley; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Colin Turner, Jensen, Josie Cain, Alex, Jackson Clements, Jacob, Madilyn Clements, Joni, Sadie and Laney Mitchell; and her aunt Juanita W. Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to First Presbyterian Church, Greensboro, Alabama or Mt. Hermon Methodist Church, Greensboro, Alabama.
