She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Christian and Louise Christian; and her brother James Madison. She is survived by: her children, Merri Ruth Hollingsworth (David), Jay Smith, Donna Shipley (Lewis) and Jennifer Waddell (Blake); her grandchildren, Candi Webster (Chris), Brandon Shipley (Heather), Casey Naylor (Hunter Thomas), Cameron Shipley (Holly), Haven Townsend and Hudson Smith; and her sisters, Martha Jean Phillips, Karla Christian Cole, Joyce Christian and Edwina Crawford. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in her name to Hospice of West Alabama.
