He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. McKinney and Sue W. McKinney; his brothers, Sammy Roy McKinney and George M. McKinney, Jr.; and his grandparents, George W. McKinney, Charlie Moore McKinney, Russell Wilson and Katie Wilson.
He is survived by: his nephews, George "Mac" McKinney and Brandon C. Oakes; his great-nephews, Samuel "Huck" McKinney and Sullivan E. Lambert; and his sisters-in-law, Sara McKinney and Kay Massey Jones (Lee).
