She is survived by: her sons, Emanuel Croom, Jr. and Stanley Merriweather, Jr.; her siblings, Janice Evans of Greensboro, Adolphus Smith (Patricia) of Los Angeles, CA, Henry Smith (Emma) of Memphis, TN. and Leslie Smith (Cheryl) of Marion, AL.; her grandchildren, Jasmine Croom of Killeen, TX, Delquinita Mobley of Tuscaloosa, AL. and Emanuel Croom III of Greensboro, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Brian Thompson and Devante Lawson Jr.. She is also survived by aunts, host of nieces, nephews, families, and friends.
