He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Dawn Taylor; and his father Earnest Taylor. He is survived by: his mother Annabelle Taylor of Boaz, AL; his children, Dewayne Johnson (DJ), Crystal Taylor Conway of Walnut Grove, AL, Laura Taylor and Autumn Taylor; his siblings, Tony Taylor of Clanton, AL, Russell Taylor of Chealsea, AL. and Elizabeth Edwards of Guntersville, AL.; and his grandchildren, Owen, Payton, Joshua, Nevaeh and Brianna.
