He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Wesley Cryer and Jewell Lucille Cryer; and his nephews, Johnny Kennedy and Teddy Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Shaun Cryer (Danielle), Ronald E. Cryer, Jr. (Emily) and Chloe Cryer; his grandsons, Colby and Wesley; and his sister Lauirne Gurley.
