We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2019, at the age of 70, John Windell Embry (Grant, Alabama) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Windell Embry to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Shane Malone; and his siblings, Clinton Embry, James Embry, Hoyt Embry, Louise Phillips and Viola Draper.

He is survived by: his daughter Gina Malone (Darren); his sister Frances Lynch; his grandchildren, Christina Kennedy (Matt), J. D. Malone (Haley) and Adena Malone; his great grandchildren, Ethan Kennedy, Emery Kennedy and Lawson Malone; and his nephew Johnny Phillips (Joanice).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or any veteran's charity.
