We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 88, Elbert Clyde Morrison of Grant, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Morrison and Earnie Morrison; and his siblings, Erskine Morrison, Gladys Thompson, Catherine Madewell, Olene Woody, Belle Dixon and Gertha Connally.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Parks Morrison; his children, Gwen Morrison, Sonya Morrison Reeder (Jerry), Philip Rodney Morrison and Karen Morrison Cardwell; his grandchildren, Lee-Cassie Walls (Stephen), Zane Marshall Cardwell (Brooke), Cody Lane Morrison and Bailey Alexander Morrison; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Levi, Tucker and Owen Walls; and his siblings, Linda Kennedy and Lawrence Morrison.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Morris Cemetery.
