She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Ray Black; and her parents, Thomas David and Hazel Dean Ashley. She is survived by: her son Adrian Black (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Breanna Black and Landon Black; and her siblings, Jimmy Ashley (Rae Ellen), Kenneth Ashley (Sharon), Patricia Key and Peggy Hardin (Rickey). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grassy Mountain Holiness Church (3679 Cottonville Rd, Grant, AL 35747). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Panquin Cemetery (1600 Cottonville Rd, Grant, AL 35747).
