She was predeceased by: her parents, Chi Tran and Kinh Thi Tran; her son Larry Vance Cayton; and her husband John W. Simmons, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Voo (Barbara Cayton), Vihn (Brenda Cayton) and Trisha Cayton Spahn; her grandchildren, Candi Elicerio, Alieah Cayton, Taylor Hess, Pierce Spahn and Cameron Spahn; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Elicerio and Oliver Elicerio.
Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will have a private graveside service at a later date.
