He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Switzer and Lucy Switzer; and his siblings, Melva Huff, Bernard Switzer and Dean Switzer.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Switzer; his sons, Greg Switzer (Kathy), Jeff Switzer (Cindy) and Joey Switzer (Amy); his siblings, Hilda Gunter and Wayne Switzer (Janis); his grandchildren, Sean Switzer (Marisa), Joshua Switzer (Crystal), Timothy Switzer, Jonathan Switzer (Claire), Seth Switzer, Zack Switzer (Olivia) and Hannah Dulin (Ike); and his great grandchildren, Collins Dulin, Delanie Switzer and Crystyn Short.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grand Bay FUMC or Trinity Methodist Church (Gulfport, MS).
