Legrant Wright Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cornelius "Neal" and Selena Broughton Tolbert. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Davis (Adrienne) and Iris Wright Simpson; her grandchildren, Sydney, Kendall, Danielle (Ademole Ayodele) and Giselle (Reuben Battley); and her sisters, Joyce Voncile Tolbert, Erma Jean Tolbert and Nadine Tolbert Showers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition, Dr. Wright supervised Grant programs in tutoring as well as a Negro Spiritual and Black Poetry Workshop funded by the Alabama Humanities Foundation.
