He is survived by: his wife Elsa McBride; his children, John McBride (Tick), Ian McBride (Courtney) and Kyle McBride; his grandchildren, Tianna McBride, Hunter McBride, Sawyer McBride and Joseph McBride; his siblings, Bobbie Jones, Lisa Scott, Tonya Harville, Dana Hadley and Lawrence Hadley; and his pet Willie Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
