He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cauley and Emily Elizabeth Cauley; his siblings, Louis Cauley and Melba Hamilton; and his brother-in-law Allen Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Jay Cauley; his children, Tina J. Cauley, Sarah Pryor (Patrick) and Earl Cauley III (Wanda); his sisters, Sandra Cauley and Patsy Cummings (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Florence Cauley. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
