He is survived by: his wife Cheryl R Sansom; his children, Wanda Cochran (Bob), Regina L Reynolds (Travis), Kim Pennington (Rob), LayLa Benson (Lee), Tim Sansom (Nicole), Megan Lusk (Joel) and Coley Sansom (Heather); and his grandchildren, Leah Sledge (Will), Elizabeth Givens (John Jr), Erin Cochran, Will Cochran (Nicole), JJ Scrushy, Shane Scrushy (Dyanna), Daniel Scrushy (Erica), Tessa Scrushy, Corey Scrushy, Nathan Reynolds (Brianna), Garrett Reynolds, Rob Pennington III, Sara Pennington, Parker Pennington, Emma Lane Benson, Lily Mae Benson, Kate Prokop (Max), Belle Sansom, Wynston Lusk, Kenzie Lusk, Sydney Sansom, Jordan Sansom and Cameron Sansom.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ramer Methodist Church (15153 Hobbie Rd, Ramer, AL 36069). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
