He is survived by: his wife Sheila Smith of Roanoke, AL; his children, Carey Smith (Jennifer) of Roanoke, AL, April Smith-Pitts (Otis) of Roanoke, AL, Tyrone Smith (Jessica) of Atlanta, GA, Alyssa Thompson-Smith of Atlanta, GA and Alyson Smith of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Rashard (Kiera), Jadarious, Unique, NaKylia, Tuzdai, Jay, Josiah, Montres, Treshawn, A'mauri, Justin, Rylee, Aaliyah, Erin, Asher and Savion; his great grandchildren, Makilyn and Messiah; his mother-in-law Nina Taylor of Roanoke, AL; his siblings-in-law, Paul Joiner of Roanoke, AL, Dr. Stephanie D. Taylor of Annandale, NJ, Charlene Huff of Atlanta, GA and Julia Anderson (Mike) of Atlanta, GA; his aunt Marie Heflin of Roanoke, AL; and his niece Shawanna Molden of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin other relatives and friends.
