She was predeceased by: her husband Frank E. Howell, Sr.; her parents, Charles Richards and LaMerle Richards; her brother John Henry Richards; and her grandson John C. Howell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Frank E. Howell, Jr. (Vicki), Clint Howell, Sr. (Cecilia), John C. Howell Sr. and Christina L. Howell; and her siblings, Evielean Howell, Juanita Outlaw, Linda Richards and Monroe Richards. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
