He was predeceased by: his daughter Sara Michelle Buffton; and his parents, Elsie Grace Buffton "Baboo" and Thomas Harold Buffton. He is survived by: his wife Sara Jane Buffton; and his children, Elizabeth Smith (Chris), Christina Buckner, Richard L. Buffton, Robert Buffton and Julia Woodall (Tex). He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers; seven grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
