He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Macon Menefee; his sons, Buddy and Billy Menefee; his siblings, Dorsey Douglas Menefee, Delano Menefee, Henry Kirksey, Dorothy Turner, Wilma Doris Menefee, Wayne Menefee and Kenneth Fuller; and his parents, Mamie Flowers Menefee (Mother) and Dorsey Menefee (Father).
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Menefee Kaufman; his sisters, Ramona Andrews and Rosa Clyde Fulton; his grandchildren, Chad Menefee, Jared Menefee (JJ), John Michael Menefee, Marjory Joyce Kaufmann (MJ) and Andi Kaufmann; his friend Tracey Noble; and his goddaughter Emily Noble. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
