He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gillis and Annie Laurie Shaver; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Carr, Horace Bozeman, Donald Thomas and Steve Owens.
He is survived by: his wife LaRue Carr Shaver of Goshen; his sons, Jim (Kristi Shaver) and Curtis (Traci Shaver); his grandchildren, Zane Shaver of Goshen, Jolea Shaver of Auburn, Hunter Shaver of Goshen and Sophie Jaymes Shaver of Goshen; his sister Jean S.; his brother-in-law Hal Lee of Goshen; his aunt Mary Alyce Carter Sanders of Goshen; and his siblings-in-law, John A. Carr (Wanda), Carolyn Bozeman, Jeanette Farmer (John), Doris Thomas, Virginia Owens and Billie Jones (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
