With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Lynne Atwell of Goshen, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eddie Culpepper and Mary Alice McVay Culpepper; and her siblings, Randall Culpepper and Alicia Bond. She is survived by: her husband Bill Atwell; her children, Lee Cooper (Hollie), Amber Furr and Lori Cooper; her stepchildren, Jody Atwell and Rebecca Powell; her grandchildren, Jason Walker, Kaydee Kelly, Serenity Cooper, Addie Warren, Charlee Cooper, Hallee Cooper, Gage Phelps, Karli Sasser and David Powell; her brother Michael Culpepper; and her close friends, Barbara Brooks-Dunn and Jackie Waters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skeen Funeral Home (707 S George Wallace Dr, Troy, AL 36081). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptst Church Cemetery (AL-223, Troy, AL 36081).
