He is survived by: his wife Toni Poynter of Gordon; his daughter Grace Poynter of Gordon; his parents, Walter Poynter and Ruby Renner Poynter of New Port Richey; and his siblings, Jeff Poynter (Karen) of Linden and Amy Weisman (David) of New Port Richey, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
