Searcy Mullenix Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Searcy Mullenix of Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Searcy leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cherrie Turnipseed Mullenix; his son Gary L. Mullenix; his grandson Benjamin Scott Brasher; and his parents, John Fredrick and Effie Mae Fendley Mullenix.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Brasher (Tim) of Gordo; and his grandchildren, Molly, Lucy, Brandon and Sarah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund, 43 Heritage Road, Ethelsville, AL 35461.
