She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Mack Sanders Sr.; her parents, Cluff Fields and Helen Atkins Fields; her son Richard Kerry Sanders; her sister Peggy Snipes; and her brother-in-law Albert Snipes.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sanders (Jeff) and Samuel Mack Sanders Jr. (Donna); her grandchildren, Andrea Duffy, Morgan Sanders and Jacob Sanders (Emmie); and her great grandchild Ava Caroline Duffy.
