Opalene King House Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2019, at the age of 91, Opalene King House (Gordo, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Joe King; her children, Gwen Sullivan (Jerome) of Gordo, Ala. and Rick House (Rita) of McCalla, Ala.; her brother Jack King of Greensboro, Ala.; her sister-in-law Ruby King of Gordo, Ala.; her grandchildren, Kelley Whitley (William, Brett Bridges), Brad Sullivan, Kristin Colburn (Jesse) and Jason Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Braeden Bridges, Will Whitley, Harrison and Bennett Colburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Hannah UMC c/o Sandra Fair, 7677 Highway 159, Gordo, AL 35466 or to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
