It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Elmore (Gordo, Alabama), who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Elmore; her son Paul Elmore; her brother Charlie Hall; her children, Janice Snipes (Bill) of Gordo, Patty Ewing (Art) of Brilliant, Ala., Kenneth Elmore (Dian) of Gordo and Randy Jack Elmore of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her sisters, Ruby Nell McBride and Pauline Holifield; her grandchildren, Dawn Cook (David), Ben Snipes (Amanda), Josh Elmore, Daniel Elmore, Joe Snipes and Angela Kemper (Phil); her great grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Andrew Cook, Logan Snipes, Makayla Elmore, Alaina Snipes, Candace Bradem, Lynzi Lanier, Jaylen Kemper, Emily Kemper and Nathan Kemper; and her grandparents, Jim Hall and Liza Booth Hall.
