She was predeceased by: her husband James Rayford Sanders; her granddaughter Jill Hocutt Moore; her siblings, Lorene Pritchett Shelton and George E. Pritchett; and her parents, John Floyd Pritchett and Martha Lou Elmore Pritchett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Hocutt (Joe), Mary Ellen Sanford (Scottie), Sherry Duffy (Ricky) and Rachel Babb (Paul); and her siblings, Janice Pritchett Turner (Keith) and John Grafton Pritchett (Betty). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Zion Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund,.
