It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lendel Reynolds Shepherd of Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Rufus Shepherd; her son William Earl "Bill" Shepherd; her granddaughter Traci Ralston; her sister Jewell Peeples; and her parents, William Lonzo Reynolds and Estie Lee Walters Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Shepherd Hollingsworth (Dwight), Jerry Shepherd (Susanne), Mike Shepherd (Susan) and Donald Shepherd (Jenna); her daughter-in-law Sharron Shepherd; her sister Betty Huffman; her grandchildren, Patrick Hollingsworth, Trenton Shepherd (Leah), Melanie Hollingsworth Brown (RJ), Jarrett Shepherd (Jessica), Madison Shepherd, Ashley Crowder (Jake), Macy Baumgarten (Jordan), Alex Shepherd (Audrey) and Keena Moses (Ryan); her grandson-in-law Phillip Ralston; and also Brenda Hannah. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
