He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elbert Gibson, Grady Gibson, Betty Ann Gibson and Judy Manning; his stepson Jeremy; and his parents, Lee Roy Gibson, Sr. and Nellie Mae McDill Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Nina "Cissy" Gibson of Gordo; his son Lee Rayfield Gibson (Trista) of Leeds; his siblings, Virgil Gibson (Janis), Clyde Gibson (Jan), Virginia McCracken and Helen Gibson Carroll; and his grandson Bryce Gibson.
