He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Burns and Edna Blackburn Burns. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Dyer Burns; his children, Natalie Skelton (Ricky), Nikki Crowell (Bill) and Appi Pate (Mike); his siblings, Connie Miles, Jim Burns (Delma) and Jerry Dyer (Doris); his grandchildren, Blane Skelton (Leslie), Caleb Skelton, Trinity Patterson (Kyle), Addison Nichols (Tyler), Logan Crowell, Brayden Crowell, Morgan Pate, Harrison Pate and Lillie Pate; and his great grandchildren, Jaxsen Skelton, Grayson Skelton, Cooper Skelton, Saylor Kate Patterson, Sadie Harper Nichols, Rhett Nichols and Ruxton Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
