He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leroy Pate, Ralph Elton Pate Sr. and Wanda Sullivan; and his parents, Raymond Pate and Myrtie Lee Pate.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Falls Pate; his daughters, Kelly Windham (John) and Amanda Snipes (Ben); his grandchildren, Logan Snipes, Lainey Snipes and Clifton Windham; his sister Joyce Montgomery; his sister-in-law Betty Gayle Pate; his nephew Jason Sullivan (Tara); and his pets, Charlie, Smokey, Harry Truman, Bob and Ruby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Faron's memory.
