It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Nell Hallman of Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband B. G. Hallman; her siblings, Rose Evans, Lewis Whitley, Walter "Tick" Whitley, George Whitley and Billy Ray Whitley; and her parents, Theo Whitley and Louise Ligon Whitley.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Carroll (Joe) of Gordo; her sister Elaine Whitson of Millport; her sister-in-law Judith Whitley of Tuscaloosa; her grandsons, Brad Carroll (Alyson) and Kevin Carroll (Misty); and her great grandchildren, Bradyn McKee (Daniel), Rylee Carroll, Tyler Carroll and Allie Carroll.
