He was predeceased by: his father Joe Neal Crowe; and his son Joseph D. Crowe. He is survived by: his mother Martha Duren Crowe; his wife Caroline Crowe; his sons, Jake Crowe and Heath Crowe (Jamie); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Rozzelle; his stepdaughters, Amy Renee Perrigin and Evelyn Marie Perrigin; and his grandchildren, Brodie Scott Crowe, Marley Claire Crowe, Alaina Crowe and Tyler Brett Irvin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
