She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Maughon and Myrtice Lancaster Maughon; her nephew Michael Morris; and her sister Floyd Morris, Jr. of Mineola. She is survived by: her siblings, Henry Lavon Maughon (Madrine) of Saraland, William James Maughon (Edna) of Goodway, Brent Michael Maughon (Annette) of Excel, Betty Sue Maughon Morris and Shelby D. Maughon Fails (Steve) of Monroeville; and her nieces and nephews, Lavonda, Richard, Steve, Alan, Michele, Spence, Brandon, Jill and Logan.
