We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 77, John David Williams of Goodway, Alabama, born in Uriah, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Willis Williams (Minnie Lee Brooks); and his siblings, Charles Williams, Albert Williams, Gene Williams, Leroy Williams, Bobbie Ann Crowley and Judy Dianna Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol Williams of Goodway, AL; his children, Michael Peavy of Mobile, AL, Tammy Lynn Peavy of Monroeville, AL and Sandy Peavy McIntosh (Kevin) of Perdido Beach, AL; and his siblings, Buddy Williams (Rosie) of Franklin, AL, Willis Williams (Alice) of Mexia, AL, Don Williams (Vicky) of McCullough, AL, Montez McMillan of Little River, AL, Orbaneze Day of Poarch, AL and Louise Gibson of Claiborne, AL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
