He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick "Fred" Boos Sr. and Evelyn C. Boos. He is survived by: his wife Jane O'Neil Boos; his children, Beth Jones (Mike) and William F. Boos, III (Tai); his grandchildren, Sara Jones, Samuel Jones, Bella Boos and Connor Boos; his sister Rebecca Northington; and his nieces, Tracy and Becky.
