It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willene S. Ward of Goodwater, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Strickland and Jessie Idora Cotney Strickland; her husband James Thomas Ward; her children, Patricia Reynolds and Robert Earl Ward; and her brothers, John Robert Strickland and Woodrow Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Ward (Angel) of Alexander City, William Ward (Elaine) of Tuskegee and Becky Ann Manning of Troy; her grandchildren, Jeffery Wyatt (Nikki), Timmy Wyatt (Christina), Jason Reynolds, Mikey Bickerstaff, Mandy Jo, Thomas Kirk Ward, Samantha, Joey Ward (Miranda), Jamie Ward (Debra), Michelle Manning and Amy Andrews (James); and her close friends, Sandra Jones, Kecia Johnson, Baron and Christine Gregg. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
